The meeting is open to everyone. Come and help make ferry-riding as good as it could be.

Top concerns with Staten Island ferry riders:

Frequency: Staten Island needs the Ferry every half hour 24 / 7. Almost here!

New ferry design: Two new ferries, now being designed, will come into service 2017. The Ferry Riders Committee recommendations based on more than 100,000 trips.

Connections: Can riders catch their Staten Island buses and train if the ferry arrives late? Can they catch their ferry if the buses or train arrive late?

Service: Punctuality, courtesy, cleanliness, professionalism

Information: Why can’t a passenger discover when the next boat is actually arriving? Actually leaving?

North Shore traffic: With all the new developments on Staten Island’s Norh Shore, what about access to the ferry?

Half-hour service is almost here!

(After more than 30 years lobbying and more than 50,000,000 passenger hours waiting in the terminals.)

There are now only 26 one-hour runs in the 168-hour week.

Full half hour service rumored for October 1 2015...

New ferries now being designed...
